My passion for nature, specifically flowers, came from a young age when I would go on garden walks with my grandmother. From there I became increasingly interested in the connection between nature and human beings. Just like nature grows without bounds, my art reflects this freedom of life and color. I use a mix of portraiture, nature, texture, and digital paint to create my composites. 

 

               The portraits that I use are not for emotion, but are a canvas to be painted on. Complementary colors are an important part of my process and are based on the color of the natural element. My process also involves abstract elements. The color of the paint and natural elements bring the portrait to life.
